Each country has its currencies. However, when it comes to decentralized cryptocurrency, It seems like just about anyone can launch their own version of it.

Recently, Philippine boxing legend and champion, Manny Pacquiao has announced his cryptocurrency, called Pac. On Sunday at a free concert in Manila, he serenaded more than 2,000 fans to drum up interest in the product.

This is the first time that a cryptocurrency is based on celebrity themselves. Pac will be used to buy merchandise related to Pacquiao as well as to interact with the boxer on social media. Pacquiao is expected to be joined by other celebrities who are also planning to launch their cryptocurrencies on Singapore's Global Crypto Offering Exchange (GCOX).
