The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston has partnered with a local blockchain consultancy, Prysm Croup to run a blockchain network supervisory nodes.
The Boston Fed said, "Digital assets and blockchain technology continue to penetrate the financial services sector at a growing rate. Also, for issue securities and currencies as well as back-office operations, blockchain or distributed ledger technology(DLT) is widely tested and used. moreover, the Boston Fed runs a back office to study and test blockchain technology."
Prysm is a consulting firm for research-driven economic, which focuses on blockchain and distributed ledger technology. At present, the firm seeking a request for comments from a wider audience regarding the role of supervisory nodes as it aims to clarify the mission of monitoring networks for better.
The Securities and Exchange Commission also expressed for service providers to create a node for the securities regulator to monitor cryptocurrency.
